Skimmer Monthly Release Roundup: What we launched in February 2026
February's updates focus on one of the most common challenges growing pool businesses face: keeping operations organized as teams, customer lists, and workloads expand. From coordinating multi-tech jobs to tracking leads and automatically syncing product costs, these improvements are designed to reduce manual work and give pros a clearer picture of what's happening across their business.

A smarter way to manage your product catalog with Heritage
Keeping product costs accurate is one of those tasks that's easy to let slip, and when costs drift, so do your margins. The new Heritage Pool Supply integration helps fix that. Connect your Heritage account, and your most-purchased products sync nightly into Skimmer, pulling in current names, descriptions, and costs from your selected branch. When Heritage prices change, your data updates automatically, so you're always quoting and invoicing with accurate numbers.

Managing the full customer lifecycle with CRM enhancements
Most pool service businesses have a mix of active customers, past customers, and potential new ones all living in the same contact list with no easy way to tell them apart. The new CRM enhancements bring more structure to that. You can now segment customers by status, Lead, Active, or Inactive, and track lead sources to understand which channels are actually bringing in new business. A new customer activity feed on each customer's detail page pulls together quotes, payments, work orders, jobs, service notes, and more into a single chronological timeline, making it easier to understand a customer relationship at a glance.
This is just the start of how we're building out customer management in Skimmer.

Clearer visibility across key reports
Five reports have been upgraded with a cleaner design, better export options, and improved filtering: Sales by Category, Income by Category, Voided Invoice Summary, Quotes with Related Invoices, and Payment Methods on File. No functionality has been removed, just a more modern experience with more ways to work with your data. Legacy versions of these reports will be removed on March 19, 2026.

A smoother invoice experience
Invoice access has been standardized through a hosted invoice page, ensuring consistent rendering and direct PDF availability. This change improves platform performance and supports long-term scalability without altering core workflows.

Smarter LSI calculations, with less data entry
Pool chemistry doesn’t change overnight, but until now the LSI calculator still asked techs to enter the same readings on every visit. That repeated data entry added up quickly across large routes.
With the new “Allow last readings to calculate LSI” setting, Skimmer can use previous readings to fill in missing values when calculating LSI. Techs only enter the readings they actually test, while the calculator handles the rest—saving time without sacrificing accuracy.
NOTE: You must update your app to the latest version to see this on mobile.
