Skimmer began in Phoenix when software engineer Ronny Hash teamed up with a pool pro buried in paperwork. After countless ride-alongs and late nights, the first version launched in 2017, built with care and real input from pool pros.
In 2020, investor Pete Freeland discovered Skimmer through his own pool guy, leading to new leadership and rapid growth. By 2024, more than 30,000 pros were completing over a million route stops with Skimmer.
Today, our 85+ person team is leading the pool service industry– buoyed by a $74M investment from Mainsail Partners– with powerful software, genuine community, and support that always shows up.
