No, you do not need to be a pool service business or a Skimmer customer. This program is for independent software vendors (ISVs) who build B2B SaaS, hardware, or services that complement the Skimmer platform. Customers who want to access the Skimmer APIs need to be on our Enterprise tier.

What is the Skimmer App Marketplace?

The Skimmer App Marketplace is our soon to be released integration application hub where Skimmer customers can discover, connect, and manage integrations with third-party software tools like yours. It's designed to help our pros build a custom tech stack around Skimmer as their core operating system.

Can hardware companies apply, or only software vendors?

Yes. The program welcomes hardware companies with a software component, like connected devices or IoT sensors, as long as the integration adds real value for pool pros using Skimmer.

Are there partnership fees?

Applying, building, testing, and deploying your integration carry no program fee, including a live listing in the Skimmer App Marketplace. Beyond that, scaling to more customer instances and our co-marketing benefits (premium placement, webinars, joint marketing, and more) are part of the Partner Marketing Program, a tiered membership for ISVs. Membership scales with your footprint in the Skimmer ecosystem, so reach out to our partnerships team and we'll walk you through the tier that fits.

How do I get API access?

Access to our APIs along with a test sandbox is granted only to approved partners. If your integration partnership is approved, you will receive full documentation and developer support to build your integration.
