December’s updates focus on two things every pool business cares about: cash flow and clarity. From faster access to funds to better visibility across billing, reporting, and service, these improvements help pros spend less time searching for answers and more time running their business.
Better control when customers fall behind on payment
We introduced new tools to help manage customers with overdue invoices more confidently. When a customer falls behind, their status is reflected across workflows to help prevent accidental service and keep billing decisions aligned with what happens in the field. This reduces manual cleanup and helps teams stay on the same page.
Faster access to funds with instant payouts
Cash flow matters. With instant payouts, eligible pros can access their funds immediately rather than wait for standard payout processing. Reporting has also been updated to clearly show instant payouts alongside standard and in-transit payouts, giving you a clearer picture of what’s landed and what’s on the way.
Deeper visibility in reporting
Reporting continues to get more powerful. The Installed Items Report now supports item-level filtering, quantity tracking, and visual indicators for item and work order types. Payments reporting has also been streamlined, with instant payouts and in-transit payouts now visible, and a new Payments Collected Report that combines summary and detail views with better filtering.
These improvements help support better planning and operational insight as businesses scale.
Smoother invoice and quote workflows
Small workflow improvements can make a big difference during busy days. Invoice and quote listings now remember your filters and page position, so you can jump in and out without losing your place. You can also attach a PDF copy of an invoice directly to invoice emails for clearer customer communication
Expanded access through the Public API
For teams using integrations or custom tools, the Public API now supports pulling full details for individual work orders. This makes it easier to build reliable reports and workflows outside of Skimmer while keeping data accurate and up to date
