Add a Service Location (Web)

Step-by-step instructions . . .

1.) Some customers have more than one location that they want you to service, and Skimmer makes it easy to keep track of them all. We’ll show you how to create additional service locations under a customer’s account. On, you can see we’ve already gone to the Customers tab and clicked into our customer’s profile. From here it’s quick and easy to add the new location. 

2.) Under the Service Location box, find and click the Add button. This will take you to the Add Service Location screen, where you can fill out all the essential details. We review the specifics of each field on this screen and what they all mean in another video. 

3.) We’ll start with the most important part, the address of the new service location. If you choose to, you can add a Location Code at this time. Make sure you also add the rate and rate type. 

4.) We have the basic information that we need to start with, so we’ll go ahead and click Save. When we get back to the customer profile screen, you can see that now we have two locations to choose from. So, whichever location you want to work with at any given time, just click to choose it under the Service Locations box. You can manage location details and work assignments for each location individually right here from the customer profile.
